About
AH13 Foundation
AH13 Foundation is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering youth through sport, mentorship, and opportunity.
Founded by Canadian soccer captain Atiba Hutchinson, the Foundation was created to ensure that every young person — regardless of background or financial circumstance — has access to safe, inspiring environments where they can play, grow, and develop confidence both on and off the field.
Atiba’s journey from local community pitches to representing Canada on the world stage demonstrated the life-changing power of sport. AH13 Foundation exists to pass that opportunity forward — using football as a platform to build resilience, leadership, and community connection.
The AH13 Foundation was created to expand access to sport, mentorship, and opportunity for youth and communities across Canada. Inspired by Atiba Hutchinson’s journey from grassroots football in Brampton to the international stage, the Foundation focuses on creating inclusive programs that promote confidence, teamwork, leadership, and healthy lifestyles.
Through community festivals, training initiatives, and partnerships with schools and local organizations, AH13 works to remove barriers to participation and ensure more young people have access to safe, positive sport experiences. Beyond the game, the Foundation is committed to developing life skills and empowering the next generation to succeed both on and off the field.
As Canada approaches the 2026 FIFA World Cup, AH13 continues to build a lasting community legacy by using sport as a tool to connect, inspire, and uplift future generations
